Member’s Personal Stories...

The people from the Club have been there and supported me since the first day I walked up the steps.

As a perfect example of “The Peter Principal” I have mostly retired and been promoted to CEO.

The best gift I’ve received in sobriety is getting to be an example for the new comers.

The Alano Club of San Jose became a second home to me when I walked through the doors.

I’ve met many wonderful people; attended lots of meetings, and learned a great deal.

I love seeing all the people coming to the club; eating, enjoying fellowship, and sharing experiences.

By example people made me feel welcome and enabled me to gain an understanding of the principles.
